Episode 124: Accepting People for Who They Are

Accepting people for who they are sounds like a warm idea. It's actually one of the hardest things a driven person can do.
In this episode of Shed & Shine, Rob and Gino get into what it really means to see people as they are, not as the idea you have of them, not as what they could be with a little nudging, but as they actually are right now.
Gino makes clear this isn't about keeping everyone around. Sometimes you still have to get rid of them. But even then, you accept them for who they are first. You see them clearly. You stop trying to change them. And then you make your decisions from that honest place.
They also get into pace, what happens when driven people expect others to move at their speed, and why finding your company's miles per hour matters more than labeling people lazy.
See life as it is. See people as they are. Everything gets cleaner from there.
